The rule breakers
It was late Wednesday afternoon when I called NEC Logistics with a 600kg shipment from Netherland to Hungary. For my biggest surprise the machine was delivered to my engine repair shop by Friday morning. As this was just a part load I never thought that it would be delivered so fast. In addition to that the NEC team also broke the rule of “You get what you pay for”.
Although the super fast delivery was a pleasant surprise, it would have been great if they had informed me in advance about the expected delivery time.
Advice for management:
Keep providing excellent service. Although in this situation, the earlier then expected delivery was a great surprise to me, others may need preparation for unloading. I recommend you communicate these good news with your customers in advance.
